To find your profile in Oscar?
The people section contains an alphabetical list of all the profiles that have been created in Oscar. If you don't have a profile page Contact us and include your name and department.

How do I edit my people profile?
1) Go to the Web page in Oscar that displays your people profile.
2) At the bottom of the page, click on the "Update" button.
3) A login page will open. Enter your UVA ID and password. The password is one that you already use for your e-mail or blue.unix account.
4) A Web form will open. This form allows you to decide how certain information can be displayed in Oscar. Some information is official University data contained in the Integrated System. If you would like to edit this, please contact your department's Human Resources representative.

E-newsletter subscription
Every month a new set of stories is published in Oscar and an e-mail newsletter is sent to Arts & Sciences alumni, students, faculty and anyone else who would like to subscribe. Every day the profile and project information in Oscar is updated from the University's central database.

How do I add a project?
1) Go to the Web page in Oscar that displays your people profile.
2) At the bottom of the page, click on the "Create New Project" button.
3) A login page will appear. Enter your UVA ID and password. The password is one that you already use for your e-mail or blue.unix account.
4) A Web form will open where you can fill in details
